Some migraine patients get a dizzy or off balance sensation when riding in a car and seeing the scenery move by the car. Mainly artificial light would seem to shimmer a bit. Sometimes it s just a blotch. Swirling lights interupt normal vision rspowell.

When my eyes are in this condition it is very difficult to read because i must slow my rate of comprehension while my brain makes out words behind the flashings. I m not going insane i think out of the corner of my right eye i can see something that appears to be a spinning color blob my mind registers it as a ceiling fan but when i look at it it moves and there s no reflective surface that could reflect it.
