So i wrote the pattern off as something i would always admire from afar but never actually be able to create.
Definitely inspiration for moving away from the classic white background with pastel jewels.
You can free your imagination and make different types with various sizes and colors you can do it by hand sewing or using a sewing machine.
I love cathedral window quilts but have always been intimidated by the sheer effort it takes to make one.
Basically she is showing you how to make an elaborate quilt top that looks like a cathedral window.
It was too much.
Previously i had done a cw pillow in 1930s reproduction prints.

But the method she uses involves a great deal of sewing and requires backing batting and binding to finish her quilts.
I love doing cws they are fun and you can create a lot of different looks just based on the different materials you use.
This beautiful quilt pattern is made with traditional blocks that are sewn together making folds and forming three dimensional designs as if they were windows.
